"I stayed at Hotel Continental Barcelona from the 7th to the 9th of March and had a really pleasant experience. The location is absolutely perfect, right on La Rambla, which makes it very easy to explore the city and reach many attractions on foot.The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I really liked the unique, colourful style of the hotel. A great bonus was the 24-hour buffet with snacks and drinks available, which is very convenient after a long day of sightseeing.
Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you want a central location, friendly atmosphere and good value in Barcelona. I would definitely stay here again."

“Book this hotel without hesitation. After a few days south of Barcelona, I came into the city for one night due to a friend's wedding. The central location cannot be beat. I had a quiet room facing an inner lightwell, and I believe there are rooms facing the courtyard too, overlooking the hidden terrace/breakfast area. Since the wedding didn't finish until 3:45 a.m., I didn't wake up for the cooked breakfast; however, upon my return in the wee hours and after my check-out, I helped myself to the ample and generous "snack bar," which really should be described as a buffet. My modern room and bathroom on the 3rd floor were spotless, the bed comfortable, the air conditioning effective, etc. Staff were helpful. It was very convenient for where I needed to go and for the transport I needed to take. Book this place now."
"Perfect location, right on La Rambla and just a short walk from Plaza Catalunya. But the real convenience—especially for those visiting the city and its many museums—is not only the location but also the availability of a 24-hour buffet, which allows you to quickly grab something to eat or drink even late in the morning or in the late afternoon. Highly recommended!!"
"Location was superb - a short walk to many on my itinerary. Also Bus stops/Metro line stations all within a couple of minutes walk for those sights a bit further out.. Hotel was lovely, cleaned every day, a nice free breakfast buffet, and the staff (24/7 reception) were so helpful and knowledgeable about the city, attractions and how to get there. Viv, who usually works afternoons/evenings, was a massive help with every little trip I wanted to make, and also recommend restaurants nearby. If I go back to this beautiful city it'll be the Hotel Continental again, without a doubt"
"The best place in Barcelona for a short getaway with your family (or even dogs!) The hotel is situated at the beginning of La Rambla, near Catalunya Square. It’s close to the Gothic Quarter, and all the tourist spots are nearby or easy to reach. Receptionist Viviene is the best receptionist I have ever seen! Great sense of humor, perfect knowledge of local cuisine spots, empathetic, and always ready to help. Buffet available almost 24 hours (almost because we came at 3 a.m. before our flight and there was only coffee available). If you come at any time of the day or evening, you’ll always find some pastries, soft drinks, and even beer or wine — all for free. The cozy terrace is absolutely lovely too!"
"It was our first time in Barcelona, and we loved it. Hotel Continental was a big part of why we enjoyed our trip — it was a great base to explore the city from. We could always come back to the hotel to grab a bite to eat, a soda to drink, and to fill up our water bottles. We loved the rooms and the free food available all day. Great place to stay in the city. Great price, great service, great atmosphere, and wonderful staff."
“Extremely satisfied. First time in Barcelona. The couple we traveled with recommended this hotel. They were here several years ago and enjoyed it then. The rooms were modern, clean, and updated. The room was large, with a very comfortable king bed (two twins pushed together) but barely noticeable. The room was very quiet, even though it was on a very busy, tourist-filled street. Having a buffet available 24 hours a day was totally the cherry on top. Would recommend this hotel for your visit to Barcelona."
"Hotel Continental was excellent in every respect, and we could not find any fault in the facilities. We had a superior room, which was worth the extra cost; the balcony overlooking La Rambla was wonderful to sit on during the day and early evening. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower was great, and there was no noise at night. Breakfast was fine, and the coffee was good. The complementary 24-hour buffet and drinks were a lovely surprise. Beer and soft drinks were great; wine was not so good. The lounge to sit with other guests was also nice, and we were able to make friends with other guests. We could not speak highly enough of the exceptional staff — the manager and receptionists were so helpful and professional, and the buffet and cleaning staff were also friendly. We will definitely return to stay here again."

“Fabulous hotel & amazing location – look no further. From the super helpful staff to the great amenities in the rooms — motorized shades, A/C, ceiling fan, refrigerator — plus a 24/7 lite buffet with beer and soft-serve ice cream, all included. The location on La Rambla was amazing — we walked everywhere, and the AeroBus to the airport is only a few blocks away. i can’t think of anything that could have been better."
