‘L’accueil charmant’

"La chambre était très propre, l'accueil charmant. Il y a un parking public (payant) en face pour se garer ce qui est précieux à Barcelone. Ensuite tout se fait à pieds depuis l'hôtel qui est à deux pas de la place Catalogna. Le buffet gratuit ouvert 24/24h est très bien."

‘Tout aimé dans cet hôtel’

J’ai tout aimé dans cet hôtel. L’emplacement, le charme suranné mais magnifique d’un hôtel particulier. Du hall d’entrée aux salons, en passant par les chambres très cosy et confortables (trop petites pour être aux normes 4 étoiles, mais qui en font un trois étoiles ++) à la formule dînatoire 24/24H. A noter que malgré le fait d’être sur la Rambla, les chambres sont parfaitement insonorisées.

‘Excelente ubicación, personal atento, buffet 24h – todo perfecto’

El personal muy amable y atento. La ubicación excelente. Céntrico, cerca boca de metro, tiendas, 20min andando del zoo. Las habitaciones muy limpias. Nos encantó poder comer y beber gratis las 24h del día. Repetiremos sin duda. Un sitio con encanto. Viajamos con un niño pequeño y súper bien!

"This is a great hotel for your first stay in Barcelona"

"Hotel Continental was excellent in every respect and we could not find any fault in the facilities. We had a superior room which was worth the extra cost, the balcony overlooking La Ramblas was wonderful to sit on in the day and early evening. The room was clean and comfortable and shower was great and there was no noise at night. Breakfast was fine and coffee good, the complementary 24 hour buffet and drinks was a lovely surprise. Beer and soft drinks great, wine was not so good. Lounge to sit with other guests was also good and we were able to make friends with other guests. We could not speak highly enough of the exceptional staff, the manager, and receptionists Nina and Anna were so helpful and professional and the buffet staff and cleaning staff were also friendly. We will definitely return to stay here again."

"One of the best locations in Barcelona!"

As a 3 star this hotel was amazing. The history and character that it holds is outstanding! Make you feel like you’re a royal with golden walls it truly is photographic. I stayed in the suite which had a hugee sitting area, however the bedroom and bathroom was very small compared to the rest of the room. The bed was so comfy we slept brilliantly. However the bathroom was a let down, there was chipped paint, stains, a broke shower head holder and mould on the glass ceiling. This being said it had no effect on our stay. The location was so convenient, only a few minutes walk to the main square and metros. The staff were amazing! Got greeted at reception and taken to our rooms, they would always say hello around the hotel, just fabulous. The all day food and unlimited drink was so handy and a brilliant touch. Loved our stay!

TAXI: In the Airport of Barcelona BCN there is a great flow of Taxis at your disposition. The journey takes approximately 30. See amount in taxa meter. The Taxi will leave you at the entrance of the Hotel. Ask the driver to take you to: Hotel Continental Barcelona 138 Rambla de Canaletes.

AEROBUS: The AeroBus takes you directly from the Airport to Barcelona. Plaza Catalunya is the nearest stop to Hotel Continental Barcelona. The bus runs from 5:00am until 1:00am, every day, all year round. The bus stop is only a 5 minutes walk from the Hotel.

TRAIN: The TRAIN from the Airport takes you directly to Barcelona and Passeig de Gracia station. The schedule is from 6.00am until 23:30pm, with a frequency of 20 minutes. The journey lasts 20 minutes until Passeig de Gracia Station. The Hotel Continental Barcelona is only 10 minutes walking distance from the Psg. de Gracia Station.
